Что это?
anydoc converts a wide range of office and document formats into GitHub-Flavored Markdown, with one consistent output regardless of the input format. Each format is parsed into a shared document model and rendered through a single Markdown serializer, so tables, escaping, heading anchors and footnotes behave the same across Word, PowerPoint, Excel and the other supported formats.
The library is written in Rust and ships with bindings for Node.js, Python and WebAssembly for in-browser use, plus a CLI and an Agent Skill. Text-based PDFs are converted locally. Scanned pages can optionally be sent to the hosted Firecrawl Parse service for OCR, and the rest of the conversion runs without network calls.
It keeps document structure such as lists, merged table cells, speaker notes and equations, which are rendered as LaTeX. Images appear as their alt text, while the raw bytes remain available on the document model.
