What is it?
Dossier keeps your career history in one profile. For each job you apply to, it reads the posting, shows how your profile matches the requirements, and drafts a resume and cover letter that only use facts from that profile. You refine the drafts in a chat, export them as PDFs, and track every application on a board or table from draft to offer.
It is built for one person running it on a small server, with one password and data stored in your own PostgreSQL database. The AI model is your choice: a local model through Ollama or LM Studio keeps documents on your hardware, while hosted options include any OpenAI-compatible API, Anthropic and Mistral. Job search can use JSearch or Adzuna, and Gmail and Google Calendar connections are optional.
The app runs in Docker, and an installation guide covers Docker Compose, Node.js, plain Ubuntu, CapRover, Coolify and Dokploy. The interface is in English and is designed for desktop browsers rather than phones.
