Что это?

OpenContext is a personal knowledge store for AI assistants. Background, decisions and project notes are kept in a global contexts/ library, so an agent can load them at the start of a task instead of being re-briefed in every new chat or repo.

It works with the coding agent CLI you already run (Codex, Claude Code or OpenCode) rather than bundling its own agent. The oc command manages folders, documents, manifests and search, while an MCP server lets Cursor, Claude Code and Codex call the library as tools. Running oc init generates user-level skills and slash commands for those tools.

A desktop app and a local Web UI let you browse, search and edit the same contexts visually, and the project is MIT licensed.
