What is it?
Codync runs the coding agents already installed on your computer, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini and about 40 others from the ACP registry, and exposes each one as a named bot you can message. Each bot has its own agent, project folder and approval policy, and you get a notification when it finishes or needs your input. Bots can be placed in group chats, and they can ask one another for help.
The core is codync-host, a Rust daemon for macOS, Windows and Linux that talks to each agent over the Agent Client Protocol, stores transcripts in SQLite and serves the client apps. Clients include a native SwiftUI iPhone app, an Electron desktop app, and a terminal UI that works over SSH. Remote access goes through a free Cloudflare relay with end-to-end encryption, or connects directly on the same network or over Tailscale.
The project is Apache 2.0 licensed and has no paid tier. It runs with the agent accounts and subscriptions you already have, so it does not call provider APIs with your login.
Key features

- 03Approval cards and notifications when a bot finishes or needs input.
- 04Remote access through an end-to-end encrypted relay or a direct connection.
- 05Native iPhone app, desktop apps for Mac, Windows and Linux, and a terminal UI over SSH.
- 06Transcripts are stored locally in SQLite on your own computer.
Use cases
- Delegating coding tasks to an agent from your phone while away from your desk.
- Running several agents on a shared project and having them review each other's changes.
