What is it?
VibeSDK lets you build full-stack applications by working with an AI coding agent. You describe what you want, answer its clarifying questions, and watch it plan, edit files, deploy previews, inspect errors, and iterate with you.
The whole workflow runs on Cloudflare services. Each project gets an isolated Durable Object workspace, generated apps are previewed as Dynamic Workers, each app gets its own SQLite-backed storage through a Durable Object Facet, and version history with restore points is kept in Cloudflare Artifacts. Model providers are routed through AI Gateway.
You can deploy your own instance with a one-click Cloudflare Workers flow, or run it locally with Bun after a setup script configures Cloudflare resources, model providers and authentication. Generated projects can be exported to continue development elsewhere.
Key features
- 01Agent-driven iterative code generation with structured clarifying questions.
- 02Live file editing in an integrated code editor.
- 03Dynamic Worker previews without a long-running dev server.
- 04Browser console inspection and runtime error repair in the build loop.
- 05Isolated SQLite storage per generated app, with inspect and reset controls.
- 06Restore points stored in Cloudflare Artifacts, with rollback that keeps history intact.
- 07Project export for continuing development outside the platform.
Use cases
- Prototyping a full-stack web app from a text description.
- Learning how an agentic coding platform is built on Cloudflare Workers and Durable Objects.
- Running a private or internal vibe-coding platform on your own Cloudflare account.
- Studying patterns for per-project isolation and versioned workspaces in agent systems.
Quick start
- 1
Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/cloudflare/vibesdk.git - 2
Enter the project folder and install dependencies with Bun
cd vibesdk && bun install - 3
Run the setup script to configure Cloudflare resources and environments
bun run setup - 4
Start the development server and open http://localhost:5173
bun run dev
Things to know
- Requires a Cloudflare account and API token, and production use needs a Workers Paid plan and Workers for Platforms access.
- Needs credentials for at least one model provider unless provider keys are stored in AI Gateway.
- Deploying your own instance requires a custom domain with wildcard DNS and a setup guide to follow.
