Что это?

FlashDim is an Android app for controlling the brightness of the phone's flashlight. Starting with Android 13, some devices allow the torch to run at several brightness levels instead of only on or off, and FlashDim provides the interface for choosing among them.

Beyond level-based dimming, the app includes shortcut buttons for preset brightness levels, an SOS mode, a morse code mode, and an interval/BPM flashing mode. A quick settings tile and a volume-button shortcut allow toggling the light without opening the app. The interface uses Material You design and adapts to the device's system colors. The app states it has no ads and no internet connection.

Full dimming works only on hardware that supports flashlight brightness control, so the project maintains lists of supported and excluded devices. The app is distributed through Google Play, F-Droid, Accrescent, Obtainium, and GitHub releases.
