O que é?
Playwright Skill is an Agent Skill that lets coding agents such as Claude Code write and execute Playwright automation on demand, from a quick page check to a multi-step flow. Instead of relying on pre-built scripts, the agent generates code for each request and runs it through a bundled executor (run.js) that handles module resolution for both file and inline scripts.
The skill keeps its main instructions concise and loads a fuller Playwright API reference only when a task needs it. It defaults to a visible browser (headless: false), supports a SLOW_MO setting for pacing, and includes optional helper functions in lib/helpers.js, such as dev-server detection and temporary screenshot handling. Artifacts go to the OS temp directory unless PW_ARTIFACT_DIR is set.
It installs through Vercel's skills CLI, as a Claude Code plugin, or by copying the skills/playwright-skill folder into an agent's skill directory. Setup runs npm run setup to install Playwright and Chromium.
