O que é?
PokeTokenBar is a macOS menu bar app that reads token usage from local logs of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Cursor and OpenCode. Each token spent incubates an egg that hatches into a Pokémon from Gen 1–5, which evolves along its real evolution line as you keep coding and can be archived into a Pokédex when it graduates.
Beneath the companion is a usage tracker. It shows today's tokens and cost in the menu bar, daily and monthly charts, and official 5-hour and weekly limits for Claude, Codex and Antigravity with reset countdowns and a burn-rate forecast. Usage is read from local files without an external CLI, and the app does not upload logs or prompts.
Pokémon species data and sprites are fetched at runtime from PokéAPI and cached locally. The project is an unofficial, non-commercial fan project released under the MIT license, and it requires macOS 14 or later.
