FlashSpace lets you define virtual workspaces on macOS and assign apps to them. Each workspace is tied to a display; switching to it brings its apps forward and hides the other apps on that display, avoiding the animation delay of native Spaces. Workspaces can be switched independently on each display.

The app offers hotkeys, a workspace switcher on Option + Tab, a Space Control grid preview, focus navigation between windows and displays, and a dynamic display assignment mode for setups where apps move between screens. Configuration is available through the GUI or as JSON, YAML, or TOML files, and a CLI and SketchyBar integration are included. It deliberately does not manage window layouts or per-window assignments.
