Image Toolbox is an Android app for editing and converting images on the device. It covers everyday tasks such as cropping, resizing, applying filters, editing EXIF metadata, and erasing backgrounds, along with more specialized tools like OCR text extraction, collage creation, barcode generation and scanning, and color palette import and export.

The app includes a large filter library with hundreds of effects, several AI-based tools for upscaling, denoising, background removal and depth effects, and PDF utilities for merging, splitting, compressing and converting pages. It supports a broad range of formats, including JXL, AVIF, HEIC, WEBP, GIF, APNG, PSD and RAW inputs.

The project is built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and is distributed through Google Play, F-Droid, and GitHub releases. A FOSS build variant replaces Google-dependent components such as MlKit and Crashlytics with open alternatives.
