Linux Router turns a Debian 13 or Debian-based Armbian device into a router that is configured through a web console. It covers system status, wired and Wi-Fi network management, hotspot creation, hotspot client visibility with DHCP leases and wireless signal details, and maintenance tasks such as dependency repair, password changes and reboots.

The system is split into two systemd services. The Flask web service runs as an unprivileged user, while a separate root Agent executes allowlisted system queries and network changes over a Unix socket. Network operations are run serially by the Agent, and the web interface polls the result to refresh status.

Installation, upgrade and uninstall are handled by a shell script that pulls the source archive from GitHub. Because these operations modify NetworkManager, netplan and dhcpcd configuration, they can interrupt connectivity and are best run from a local console or during a maintenance window.
