What is it?
NectarLink lets an Android phone and a Windows or Linux PC work together. It mirrors phone notifications to the PC with replies and actions, shows SMS, MMS and chat messages from several apps in one inbox, and handles incoming and outgoing calls. The clipboard syncs between devices, and files and photos transfer in both directions over the local network or a USB cable.
The PC side can open individual phone apps in their own windows, mirror the phone screen up to 60 frames per second with sound, and use the phone as a webcam or speaker. In the other direction, the phone works as a touchpad, keyboard, voice typing input and presentation remote for the PC, and a configurable button grid can trigger PC actions.
Devices connect directly with QUIC and TLS 1.3, authenticated by keys exchanged during pairing. There is no account and no server in the data path. Each paired device has its own feature switches, and sensitive features such as remote control and phone storage stay off until enabled. The core is written in Rust and shared by both apps; the Windows app uses Qt Quick and the Android app uses Jetpack Compose. macOS support is in preview.
