What is it?

Personal Agent Proxy sits between your personal services and the AI agents that act on your behalf. You connect services such as email, Google, Notion, Linear, Plaid, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or any service exposing an MCP server, and then decide what each agent may access. Every agent gets its own login and permissions, so a provider does not receive your full private context.

The proxy keeps an activity log of successful connection actions as well as actions denied by access settings. From the home screen, quick actions cover finding people, email and files, working with calendars, writing email, calculations, unit conversion, and showing balances or spending. It can be self-hosted or used through the project's hosted instance.

The project is written in TypeScript and released under the MIT license. Its interface includes dashboards for agents, connections, and per-connection permissions.

Key features

  • 01Connects email, Google, Notion, Linear, Plaid, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or any MCP server.
  • 02Gives each AI agent its own login and granular permissions.
  • 03Logs successful connection actions and actions denied by access settings.
  • 04Does not copy the contents of connected services into its database.
  • 05Offers quick actions for finding files, managing calendars, and checking balances.
  • 06Can be self-hosted or used via a hosted instance.

Use cases

  • Letting a personal AI assistant read calendar and email without giving it full account access.
  • Auditing what each AI agent has done with your connected accounts.
  • Granting a coding or chat agent read-only access to a database such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
  • Self-hosting a central permission layer for several AI agents at once.

Quick start

  1. 1

Read the self-hosting guide in the docs

  2. 2
