What is it?

LIA is an open-source personal assistant in a web application you can host yourself. It connects the accounts and documents you make available, including Google, Apple iCloud and Microsoft 365 mail, calendar, contacts and tasks, and uses them to prepare conversations, organize your day and track commitments. Memory, knowledge spaces and meeting records are reused in later requests, and you can inspect and correct what is kept.

Actions covered by approval flows wait for your decision before they run, and drafts such as emails can be reviewed first. Between conversations it offers a daily briefing, reminders, scheduled routines, a personal audio radio and voice interaction with push-to-talk, a wake word and live voice sessions. Chat is available in a Telegram channel and as installable mobile and PWA clients.

The project is built with FastAPI, Next.js, LangGraph and LangChain, supports cloud models as well as local models served through Ollama, and ships with Docker-based deployment, Grafana dashboards and an interface in six languages.
