Hypit is a language and system that lets AI agents such as Claude Code or Codex create videos. Given a reference video, an agent breaks it down into a complete workflow covering footage, captions, B-roll and effects, anchored to words rather than timestamps. The same composition can then be reused to produce many variants by regenerating only the parts that change, such as the host, the hook or the product.

Generation models are optional. A workflow can also be written from a text description or from templates, and it can compile captions, motion graphics and code-rendered visuals into a finished video without calling a generation service. Model providers are configured by the user, who supplies their own API keys or local models. The project is distributed as a skill for coding agents plus a TypeScript monorepo with a custom markup language (SVML) for describing compositions.
