What is it?

Ontime is a browser-based application for planning event rundowns, tracking schedules and triggering cues. It keeps show timing and cross-department information in one place, so directors, operators, backstage crew and signage displays work from the same data.

The app runs as a cloud service, as native installers for Windows, macOS and Linux (including Raspberry Pi), through Docker, via NPM or with Homebrew. Once running, any device on the same network with a browser can open it, including tablets, phones and media servers. Dedicated views cover director, operator, backstage and public signage use.

Ontime can be controlled fully or partly by an operator, or run standalone using the system clock. Integrations are available through OSC, HTTP and WebSocket APIs, and a Companion module supports tools such as vMix, disguise, QLab and OBS.
